Glenwood Inn - Stroudsburg

Extremely nice staff. Trying to re-vitalize a resort hotel whose prime is long behind it.... but the friendliness and cleanliness made up for it. Not to mention that the price was very reasonable, considering the location and the availability during a holiday week. The Waldorf Astoria it is NOT... but if you're looking for a clean, friendly and affordable place to rest your head after a long day of skiing, this might be a perfect place for you.

Would definetly reccomend for low budget couples who like things quiet. Went here with my boyfriend for break. We rented out the king bed room with the jacuzzi for 8 nights. It was super affordable and had a fridge and heating and cooling options within the room. Had a tv we could set our Switch up on and internet was great. It was super quiet at night and the game room was really fun to hang out in when we got back from wherever we were for the the day. There was no room service but that was ok because there was plenty of options for food nearby and we like to take night walks. Definetly coming back if we are coming back to the area!

Been Coming here with my partner for quite a bit. Each time we never have any problems. Rooms always clean, towels clean, rooms smell good. The scenery is amazing. I love the old looks it has. I dont know why people bash this place. It's awesome. Bugs are a given we are in the middle of the forest but never seen no roach or bed bugs so no complaints. And the owner, he is very nice never was rude. The pool was amazing when it was there and people need to understand things happen ans it's not easy to build a whole building in a fast pace. He even gave me a bigger bed room when it cost more than the one we tend to get. 10/10 love it and will stay coming every time we travel out here.

I’m afraid to give this place to good of a review just in case I ever need to stay here again. The rooms are spacious clean warm. The staff couldn’t be better. A very warm safe old school feeling and value a plus plus it’s not the Hilton probably better I highly recommend this place.

This is a very reasonably priced motel. Rooms were clean. It is a cool motel reminds me of motels as a kid you actually get a real key to get into your room I loved it!!!! Thank you so much for your welcome! I left Quebec (Canada) on a road trip to take my son to a week-long gymnastics camp in the Poconos Mountains and I spent all my savings there. I really needed to find a quiet, safe and above all affordable place since I had been sleeping in truck stops for several days. I still have to wait 6 days for the end of his camp and being here allows me to be safe and to walk around to discover your magnificent region. Big Thumb Up for your shower which provides impressive pressure!!! And thank you also to the lady who takes care of the cleaning for bringing me a small bag of ice cubes from her home... Very comfortable family owned place to stay for the night or two really quiet, simple and get a great peaceful nights sleep. Perfect for the price and they really make you feel welcomed. I would definitely stay again if I decided to come back to the area.

Very clean. Family business. the most economic among all the other places in the region, including during holidays etc. they have policies such as: the check-in is until 10pm. No high noise after 10pm, no pets or extra fee for pets. We drove from the east and passed through the delaware water gap which may be nice for its trails in the morning.
